Dear NAWIC Austin Chapter 7 Members,

As we move through another exciting month, I want to extend a warm welcome to our newest Chapter 7 members! We are thrilled to have you join our NAWIC family and look forward to getting to know each of you.

For those planning to attend the NAWIC Annual Conference in Reno, Nevada, please take a moment to log into Star Chapter and mark that you will be attending. This helps ensure we have an accurate count of Chapter 7 members who will be representing Austin at the conference and allows us to better connect with one another while we're there.

I also want to remind everyone that Camp NAWIC is just around the corner at the end of July. If you plan to volunteer, please register as soon as possible so your required background check can be completed in time for the event. We couldn't provide this incredible experience for young women without the dedication of our volunteers, and we truly appreciate your willingness to give your time.

Thank you for your continued support, involvement, and commitment to making NAWIC Austin Chapter 7 a strong and welcoming community. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events!

Safety Moment

Safety is not just physical – it’s mental and emotional too.  A positive attitude is a state of mind that can help people in every aspect of their lives such as relationships, inner peace, health, and success. Countless research has shown a positive mindset can contribute to your team’s decision-making, productivity, and safety onsite. Sometimes, something as simple as encouraging a coworker, thanking someone for working safely, or approaching problems with a solution-oriented attitude can completely change the tone of a jobsite.
