NAWIC Austin # 7 Newsletter

🌸 NAWIC Austin Chapter 7 Newsletter 🌸

Dear NAWIC Austin Chapter 7 Members,

What an incredible month it has been! From regional conferences to chapter elections, May has been full of milestones worth celebrating. As we head into summer, there is so much to look forward to and plenty of ways to get involved, so please read through this newsletter in full so you don't miss any important updates.

We are also thrilled to welcome some wonderful new faces to our chapter this month — please join us in giving a warm NAWIC welcome to:

Madelin Braund (KONE), Andrea Drum (Centex Personnel Services), Carson Lauger (Centex Personnel Services), Naomi Guerra (Centex Personnel Services), Gabriella Krohn (Modern Yard Landscapes), and Blanca Glick (Patriot Erectors, LLC

We are so glad you are here and look forward to growing together!

On the regional front, our chapter had a wonderful showing at this year's South Central Regional Conference, hosted in the beautiful city of Hot Springs, Arkansas, where members from across the region came together to connect, learn, and celebrate the incredible women making an impact in the construction industry.

We are especially proud to announce that our very own Erika Dumas was honored with the prestigious Future Leader Award at the conference — an award that recognizes an emerging professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, dedication to the industry, and commitment to the mission of NAWIC. Congratulations, Erika! Your hard work, passion, and spirit are an inspiration to all of us, and we are incredibly proud to have you representing Austin Chapter 7.

Closer to home, our chapter also held elections for the 2026–2027 chapter year, and we are excited to introduce your newly elected leadership team:

Looking ahead to July, Camp NAWIC is just around the corner, and we need your help to make it a success!
