Chapter Dinner Meeting

NAWIC Austin believes that safety is a top priority – whether on the jobsite or in an office.  Successful safety programs can help identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury or illness, improving sustainability and the bottom line.  To further promote this, we have put together a panel of safety experts to discuss OSHA policy/updates, corporate safety policies, best practices, lessons learned and a Q&A session.

Our Panel will include: 

OSHA Representative – Edward Herrera

ESC Safety Consultants – Ken Paninski

Safety Representatives from Flintco & Austin White Lime

NAWIC National has also partnered with OSHA for the SAFE + SOUND Week event – August 13-19, 2018.  This is to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs that include management leadership, worker participation and a systematic approach to finding and fixing hazards in the workplaces.  To learn more about this event go tohttps://www.osha.gov/safeandsoundweek/.

Networking starts at 5:30 PM                     Meeting starts at 6:00 PM
Meeting Cost: $35 for members and $45 for non-members
