About Austin NAWIC

Austin NAWIC is an association of active, dynamic group of women who are involved in professional development, community service and mentoring programs.  Join our amazing group of motivated women and impact your career and community through networking, education and friendship.  The Austin Chapter of NAWIC invites you to come what our chapter can do for you professionally and personally. Our monthly meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month. Meetings start at 5:30 with networking, dinner and educational program. Check our website for meeting location >>here

One of our primary focuses this year are networking opportunities for industry professionals and friends as well as community action programs. We have several events planned for Women in Construction week as well as sponsorship and volunteer opportunities.  Examples of previous events that we have participated in include Meals on Wheels and More Handy Wheels program, Habitat for Humanity, Take A Student to Work Day in partnership with Crockett High School Construction Technology Program, Courtyard Cleanup Day and CANstruction in partnership with Austin ISD and Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders.  Each year we also hold an annual Fall Golf Tournament in which the funds raised benefit our Austin NAWIC Scholarship Program. The proceeds are distributed to men and women attending a Texas college or university who are majoring in a construction related field. .

NAWIC’s Objectives
